This is the first such train in South America and promises a scenic route through southern Brazil while soaking it's occupants in luxury. The Great Brazil Express consists of two carriages which are done up in colonial style and are influenced greatly by Brazilian fauna and flora. Each carriage seats 22 passengers who are pampered with amenities including: comfortable chairs and couches, big windows to guarantee maximum view, a fully stocked bar and scumptuous snacks. Overnight stays are booked at luxury hotels in the towns enroute. The train also stops at fine restaurants for major meals.
The traincruise begins in Curitiba, inn the south eastern part of Brazil, from where you chug along to the famous Iguassu waterfalls on the border of Brazil and Argentina which is the final stop and is reached in 8-9 days.
