Finland's famous for it's Saunas' and now they have staked their claim on the world's first sauna gondola which has been built in the Lapland ski region of Yllas.
It's called the Doppelmayr’s sauna gondola and is intended to warm up skiers during the 13 minute ride. Skiers need to strip down to swimsuits in the main station before getting into the cozy cars which make the occupants break a quick sweat despite freezing temperatures outside. The sauna gondola is heated by electricity and skiers can also jump into the Yllas Fell main sauna at the top of the ride. Each sauna car can carry four people at a time. The sauna gondola and main sauna combo package is yours for a cool 1,500 Euros or about $2,150. So if you are a Sauna lover, Finland's got something for you to look forward to.
